Just two more weeks to Origins, and we at 12 to Midnight can’t wait! Here’s just a few of the things we’re running:
Chickens in the Mist
This adventure first appeared in the pages of Modern Dispatch and instantly became our favorite. In this adventure, you discover the results of genetic modification mixed with organized animal fights. Origins marks the first time this adventure has been run at a convention. We’ve created a set of pre-generated characters so you can sit at the table and start playing within minutes. Ed also took the step of Savaging this adventure, so you can pick your favorite game flavor–modern d20 or Savage Worlds. Later this summer we’ll be releasing Chickens as a Midnight Tale, so consider this an opportunity at a sneak peak at an upcoming title.
12 Hours to Midnight: Episode 1
This adventure marks the first episode in 12 to Midnight’s experiment in serialized adventure. Pick up a pre-generated character and hang on to your chair, because you’ll be in for the ride of your life. This episode starts with high-adrenaline action and rarely lets up. A camping trip turns serious when a manhunt leads straight to the heroes! 12 Hours to Midnight is the most ambitious serialized modern adventure we’ve ever seen, and this is your chance to experience it first hand before its release. This adventure is also being run for both modern d20 and Savage Worlds.
ETU: Degrees of Horror
East Texas University is Pinebox’s local university, and a source for its share of inexplicable paranormal activity. This campaign will take characters from entering Freshmen to graduating Seniors. See for yourself how we’ve captured that college-life feel when you create your own character using our custom options along with Savage World’s famous 15 minute character creation. When you’re done, we’ll run them through an introductory adventure we like to call… Hell Night.
Weekend Warriors
This was 12 to Midnight’s second published adventure, and it remains a convention favorite. Pick your soldier and report for duty! After all, what could possibly go wrong at a remote New Mexico military research facility? Did I mention the main research is in reanimating mortally wounded soldiers so they can keep fighting on the battlefield? Pick your flavor- d20 or Savage Worlds.
Next week we’ll give you the lowdown on our panel discussions.
