ETU students fight monsters

Congrats Mojo Joe!

12 to Midnight crew poses with Joe R. Lansdale (middle).

We at 12 to Midnight are pleased and excited at the news that Texas’ own “Mojo Joe”, Joe R. Lansdale, has been named to receive the 2007 Grand Master of Horror award. Mr. Lansdale will accept his award in a few months at the World Horror Convention in a couple months. According to the website:

The number of votes cast this year by members of the convention was the highest in the history of the seventeen-year-old award, and Lansdale joins the distinguished ranks of such other honoured recipients as Robert Bloch, Stephen King, Richard Matheson, Anne Rice, Clive Barker, Dean R. Koontz, Peter Straub, Brian Lumley, Ramsey Campbell, Harlan Ellison, Ray Bradbury, Charles L. Grant, Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, Jack Williamson, F. Paul Wilson and Ray Garton.
Way to go, Joe!
