The door - unsung NPC for every adventure you have ever played or run! In games doorways appear by the dozens. They are found in the villians lairs and the heroes headquarters. In secret labs, starships, haunted mansions and shopping malls. They range from the strongest high tech vault hatch to the lowliest wooden apartment door. Every place your hero must enter or exit has some kind of door. Whether it’s made of pine, oak, glass or “ulta-nium superalloy”; characters will spend much time pass-ing through, searching, locking, blocking, unlocking and listening at doors. They are the gateways to strange and unknown places and are the gamemasters best friend. Doors usually appear on maps as mere ink squares or scribbled pencil marks, but their potential is so much greater!
